PRODUCTION MANAGER

DON CRONIN

Don’s professional work experience consists of a varied combination of Television and Radio work. The majority of his employment background has been doing production work in the community television industry. He was station manager at the Winchester Community Television station for twelve years. He received national recognition for having produced and directed local election coverage as part of the Alliance for Community Media’s annual video competition. In addition, he was News Director at HCAM TV in Hopkinton.

On the radio side, Don has done on-air news and traffic reports on WRKO, a major market station in Boston. Before that he was a weekend DJ at WMRC AM 1490 for six years.

He has done freelance work at WNDS-TV where he did audio and replay on a taped Bowling show. Also, was camera operator on a live remote telecast for WVJV-TV (V-66). Don was a Director of the WGBH-TV annual Auction for more than ten years. In addition, Don worked for the Comcast Sports Network where he did audio and camera work on Live telecasts of Minor League hockey and the Lowell Spinners baseball team.

Don attended Northeast Broadcasting School in Boston.
