Our mission at HCAT is to be the vital source of Information for Holliston, through Award Winning Programming that Unites and Strengthens our Community.
History
Holliston Cable Access Inc. was incorporated in 1985 with the initial cable television license. facility Our production studio is located at Holliston High School. The first volunteer training class was held in 1986 and the first local television program, Holliston News and Views, was broadcast.
From these beginnings, HCAT has grown and progressed to serve our community’s changing needs. Our programs are available on demand through our web site for view on electronic devices. HCAT social media platforms include You Tube, Facebook, and Twitter. We offer a community bulletin board that fundamentally connects town residents.
HCAT is a not for profit corporation managed by a 7 person volunteer Board of Directors.

The content of our three channels provides an essential connection to our community. The Government channel comprehensively follows key town government meetings. Viewers of the Education channel receive on the spot video coverage of Holliston High School sports teams. Our award winning Public content offers innovative, entertaining productions for and about life in Holliston.
Access television provides residents a vehicle to express their opinions, share their creativity, and their commitment to Holliston through video and social media. Opportunities exist to: produce your own program, run a camera, assist with editing, work a sports event, be a reporter or learn how to direct in a control room. The choice is yours! Training and equipment are available at no charge.
